Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of BlackLab ("the service"), an app for tracking personal and shared expenses. By creating an account you accept these conditions.

1. What BlackLab is

BlackLab lets you record income and expenses, link your account with another person's and share with them the movements you choose. The service is in a closed phase and is accessed by invitation only.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account's activity and for keeping your password safe. You must provide a real email and verify it. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use BlackLab for illegal activities, to enter third-party data without their consent, or to attempt to breach the security of the service or of other users. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Content

The data you enter is yours. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. See the Privacy policy.

5. Availability

We do our best to keep the service online, but it is provided "as is", without warranties. We may change or discontinue features, giving notice where reasonable.

6. Exchange rates

The rates BlackLab shows come from public third-party sources and are indicative. Each movement's rate is frozen at the value from the moment you logged it, and you can edit it.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Doing so permanently removes your movements, categories and links.

8. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email or within the app before they take effect.
